Western New Mexico Correctional Facility (WNMCF) located in Cibola County, Grants, New Mexico, a community of approximately 9,000 residents. The facility, when originally opened, was designed to house male and female inmates. Effective October 19, 2016 the Western New Mexico Correctional Facility officially transitioned into an all-female facility. Along with the transition, WNMCF has gained multiple missions that include: Reception and Diagnostic Center, Mental Health Treatment Center (MHTC), Long Term Care Unit and the PBMP Unit for female offenders.

Visiting hours are from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, day are as follows:

In order to visit an inmate, you must be on the approved visitation list. Click here for the visitation policy and information.

An approved visitor can send a money order with the inmates name and number to the facility.
