Mission Statement

The New Mexico Corrections Department Training Academy is staffed with instructors who bring a pyramid of experience to their teaching. All instructors have completed a training-the-trainer course and have real-world experience in the courses they teach. Many have college degrees, some advanced degrees. Instructors are continually trying to better themselves and bring their skills and knowledge to the forefront by seeking out the latest training and learning techniques.
